I am thrilled that Jeremy Corbyn did so well in last Thursday’s election and pleased that so many former Parliamentary critics of his have had the good grace to wish him well and say they were wrong about his prospects.

Of Theresa May there is little to say, she has sawn halfway through the branch on which she was sitting and it is not a question of if it breaks but when.

My reaction to the election is therefore best expressed in a few images posted below which I regard as both relevant and amusing. I look forward to the second General Election this year when Jeremy Corybn will become Prime Minister and we will have a Labour Party governing for the whole population for the first time in many decades.
